TopDogs New Logo Development

I attempted to draw this up digitally, but the drawing itself wasn't strong. I did redraw it so it was more detailed, but it proved too difficult to draw and make it look good.

I drew up a version of the pizza slice on top of the hotdog, but it really didn't look good. So I drew it again, with more detail and movement. I then drew over it and coloured it the same colour scheme I've been working with. I like the colour and don't feel they need to change.
I then took the colour out and used only coloured lines, similar to the second aesthetic I chose to work with.
I can't see these working as logos at the minute. They're not strong drawings, they don't look good. If I want to use actual hotdogs and pizza, it needs to look delicious. Coloured outlines don't suggest that.

These were another group of designs, Rena thought of. These were using a lot of colour and just vector shape. These look good, but I think the colour and styling of the drawings, and type in this context looks too dated. They look very 50's, quite diner-esque and ice cream related. I think if we were showing pizza and hotdogs it needs to be more detailed than just outlines.

This was something Ian drew up the next day. I had to tried to draw something similar to this, but mine actually drew the pizza slice. Ian pointed out that we are not selling pizza slices, its only the toppings. So this was his way of communicating it.
I liked the idea of this and the thought behind it made a lot of sense. I wanted to take this and expand it. I didn't like the black, the stroke weight and really the shapes made for the ingredients. I needed to redo it to match the brand designs that were staying, colour and outlines.
