TopDogs Printed Material Wrap

The wrap was important because it goes around the hotdog while the customer is eating it. So it needed to be pretty and something they’ll remember. This is where I used the illustrations of the pizza and hotdog to make a repeat pattern. The pattern suits the wrap a lot because it is simple, nice to look at and a reminder of where they got they’re food form.

I took the colour out of most of the drawings because full colour would have been expensive, and a bit too much on the wrap. Having it just black lines and pink and yellow bits highlights the important parts of the business.

People associate hotdog with ketchup and mustard. So having the pink and the yellow just on the wrap, highlights the drawing but also make the customer link those colours with our hotdogs. The lack of colour in this prompted me to start using less colour in other branding material.

Taking the colour out of these illustrations made the overall thing a lot better. it was easier on the eyes, suggested some colour so still looked good. Because of this I changed the colours of everything, so there was more white and less pink. I hope this makes the business look fresh, new and clean.
