The plan for this brief was to create a lot of printed material to post around the area to create interest. The illustrations were an idea for a set of posters, but after actually making them, I don't think the message will be effectively communicated.
The idea behind this poster is that the illustrations are saying, 'Pizza toppings plus hotdog equals our business topdogs'.
This was an idea to use just humanistic words to try and sell our business and personality. This didn't work.
After the crit, after easter it was suggested that actually is just saying 'pizza and hot dogs equals topdogs'
It's not communicating the USP at all, which isn't good because we are trying to set a new business up.
I inverted the colours as well, because the pink was beginning to become too much. There was too much of it on each design and actually became sickly.
The posters needed revised
