We went through the presentation and he gave me his
thoughts –
Logo – was misleading because it is an
image of a dog. When there’s no tagline or anymore information on the logo, its
difficult to work out the business. It could have been a dog biscuit business.
The url also adds nothing to the customers
knowledge of what the business is.
The posters need images because we are
talking about food, we are trying to get someone in the street say ‘ aw god I’d
love one of those’ so using photography is probably an easier way to ensure
this rather than illustrations.
We need to say something about the
hotodogs, at the minute we’re saying we have them or make them. But we need to
say, these are best hotdogs you will ever have and it is important you buy one
off us.
Although the audience was for drunk younger
people, this type of food would sell well to anyone. Using words to suggest the
quality and taste is important to create interest. – saying ‘the finest’ or ‘delicious’ will make someone take notice.
Colour could be used to show different type
of dog
Logo itself is misleading, it needs to
ideally be a pizza on top of a hotdog. To show the public exactly what this
business is about.
Like what the crit said, the pizza and
hotdog have to come together to communicate its not pizza and hot dog
separately. Its them combined.
Use ingredients in the imagery for the
logo?
